APEDA is entrusted with the duty of promoting exports and developing designated products, which include fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry products, dairy products, confectionery, biscuits, bakery items, honey, jaggery, sugar products, cocoa products, chocolates, floriculture products, pickles, papads, chutney and others.

Registration Process.

To register with APEDA, the applicant must submit the application form within one month from the commencement date of the business. 

If an exporter of scheduled products is unable to register within this timeframe due to valid reasons, an extension may be granted solely by the Authority.

Upon the successful submission and payment of the application, the Authority will issue a Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC). 

This registration is a one-time process, and all registered members are subject to the rules and regulations established under the APEDA Act.

Documents required for registration

  • The application form has been properly signed.
  •  A copy of the Import-Export code issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (D.G.F.T.) is included.
  •  A bank certificate, duly signed by the relevant authorities, is provided.
  •  The bank account statement for the firm’s account covering the most recent two months is attached.
  •  A canceled cheque is also included.
